First loves, do you think they last forever? Do you believe they will always have a special place in your heart? — Asked by lieandtell

When you’re 35, you’re not going to look back and think about the woman/man you were in love with at 17 or 18 and miss those times/that person. You’ll look back and think about what a fucking idiot you were for doing the things you did with those people. Though you won’t feel too bad, or, at least you shouldn’t because what you did in the past shaped who you are today.

There’s no sense in holding on to pieces of the past. It’s like holding sand, it’ll all eventually slip though your fingers. Focus on today, but look to tomorrow. Forget the past.
