Tell me you remember the fireworks, the ones you didn’t want to watch but I forced you to. You were the first person to twist my stomach into knots, to give me butterflies as they say. Every time your hand gently brushed my hair out of my eyes, I could’ve sworn that time simply ceased to exist right then and there. I would give anything to relive every moment we spent together. Granted, they were short, but they meant the most to me. I barely knew you yet somehow I knew all of you. I let my guard down with you and believe me, that was no easy task for me to do. Just the effortless way you kissed my forehead made me melt. I found your brash remarks so intriguing solely for the fact that I was the only one who understood them. I was completely and utterly captivated by the very thought of you. I could’ve sworn that you and I would be something more. But suddenly those two months were over and you went on your way; keeping the thoughts of you and I as just a mere memory.
