(photo via hipcumon) “Ugh!” I heard her scream from the kitchen, “You bought apple cinnamon Eggos…?” I lean back in my chair to look into the kitchen to see her standing at the fridge. “Um, I thought since last time we… got the…other kind.” I said half halfheartedly turning the TV down with the remote. “No, no. I told you specifically that I wanted original flavor. I told you.” I can hear her rooting around inside the freezer, as if hoping to find something other than what’s there. She was always using that phrase, I told you specifically when she was really pissed. How the fuck would I know? What about what I want? I would never say these things aloud. I hear the refrigerator shut and then a lighter flick. She’s going to get high and go to bed. Go to fucking bed. Kimmel’s on. Course Kimmel sucks but I’ll watch it just to make sure she’s asleep by the time I go to bed. The Cat is another argument altogether. We agreed Mr. Boots would stay with her old roommate, but here he is anyway. And she wonders why I buy apple cinnamon.
