Maybe I cornered you into loving me. I asked if everything was all right and instead of telling the truth you said “I love you. I’m falling in love you.” And I’m an idiot for believing it was true. That it wasn’t just another excuse.  It felt great to have someone momentarily love you, even if it’s just a lie.
