I recently lost a very close friend of mine in a car accident and he was only 18. I still have no idea how to come to terms with it although I'm getting stronger. Do you have any suggestions on good readings or advice that could help?

I haven’t had a lot of death in my life, which I’m fortunate for. But I would say reading almost anything would be able to take your mind off of things, but specifically check out “A Heartbreaking Work of Staggering Genius” by Dave Eggers.
Feel better, I’m sorry for your loss.

My best friend in the entire world died when we were fresh 21. I think about him to this very day and I am now 32.
Cry when you want. Listen to songs that remind them of you. Look at pictures or whatever else may remind you of them.

@Anonymous
My best friend was killed in a car accident this summer. He was only 19. I was at my lowest. I was going crazy. Then I just prayed for something. And I got the strangest peace I have ever had. There is a God. I prayed and He helped.
