I wanted you more than anything. I craved you. I allowed myself to immerse into the plethora of thoughts that I’ve been keeping away from all these time; An irrevocable mistake. Your illuminating brown eyes, your soft lips, your saccharine smile, your dark hair, the electrifying touch of your skin, the warm velvety voice I used to hear so very much. I’ve missed it all. The lights went off and I could see your eyes on me. I wasn’t sure how to react. My feelings were so strong and I knew then that I didn’t do a very good job hiding them. You leaned over to touch my face, the warmth of your body against mine. Your eyes bore straight into my soul. You were so close I could taste your breath on my lips. I was losing myself. It took every inch of strength in me to resist you. You looked right through me and you knew what I wanted.

You knew what I wanted all along that I couldn’t have.

And in the end, I still couldn’t have you.
