Sleeping in till noon has always been a guilty habit of mine, but when i awoke with your warm arms around me i never wanted to leave the scene of tangled sheets and bodies. I covered my half open eyes with my hands and sheets as the sunlight peaked through my black curtains, awaking me to your touch. Just the pure bliss of your fingertips as you traced every line of visible skin and bone on my bare back made goosebumps crawl though my unclothed body as if it were freezing outside. You started talking about how crazy it was that what you were feeling on your fingertips was so different from the touch i was experiencing, stating how great it is to make contact with another, even if it is something as simple as fingertips. You finally stopped and i turned to you so i could face you, my pillow and face at your shoulder so i could look up to you when we talked, making me feel so small yet so complete. The sunlight streamed in on your face, perfectly highlighting your lips and eyes as they moved in my direction they both seemed to smile simultaneously. There was something about laying in bed with you till noon that gave me such comfort, maybe it was that fact that you used to wake up early before you meant me, i turned you into a sleepyhead like me, showing that i could have an effect on another. I no longer was the only one being affected in a relationship, no longer the one tracing my fingers against his back, this time we both shared the true bliss of each others touch. Drawing masterpieces with our fingertips on each others skin every afternoon.
