Fewer and further apart.
I’ve been writing about you less often and I miss it. I think I miss it even more than I miss you. I miss writing about love, life, pain, hope, hurt and strength. I miss the satisfaction I felt when every word fell right into place and my fingers moved across the keyboard seamlessly, I miss the feeling I got after I pressed post and I saw what I had just written on my dash, I miss the few people that would like the posts and acknowledge my writing, those few “likes” filled me with joy but now I’m slowly moving on and I’m thinking about you less and less. I’m not as hurt as I once was and even though I’m happy that my heart is healing, I’m still going to be quite sad when I finally run out of words to write about you. Whether it be a day, month, or a year from now. I don’t know what I’ll do with my thoughts or what I’ll do with my time when I finally put down this figurative gun, I’ve gotten so good at aiming it down your throat.
