Are you in NY? What should my friend and I do?!
— Asked by ssuspiciouss
I do live in NYC.
You should avoid: Times Square, the subway system, horse drawn carriages(inhumane!), buffets, the Empire State Building on a cloudy day, any tour that’s not self-guided, comedy shows, Queens, The Bronx (not the zoo though), stopping in the middle of the side walk, Laguardia airport.

amen. queens can be awesome. telling a foreigner not to go to any part (excluding staten island) is incredibly biased.

May I ask, why do you suggest that this person shouldn’t go to queens.

Gotta disagree with you on Queens because Queens is my hometown/birthplace, but yeah, agree on most of these. Try the Empire State at midnight. The last elevator goes up at 1 AM and it’s gorgeous and uncrowded then, albeit chilly.
