When You Go Anywhere

An early phone call had awoken me. I felt suddenly wired from my deep sleep, and especially more seeing as who it was. She said, “I’m leaving now.” It’s funny how you almost don’t really believe anything big will happen until it does. Life always seems to be mostly talk. Your wedding will come, it’s true. You’ll find your love, and then have children. It’s buried in your mind now, isn’t it? Now, it is nowhere near something that significant. My love, she leaves for no more than two days to the snow covered lands of yore known by American Indians as, “Utah”. Her brother has an event that when, he heard she would not be in attendance, his poor face spilled forth tears. I would feel the same. I miss her. I couldn’t even be able to spend one day without her. I miss her, of course, because I love her. “I’ll miss you when you go anywhere”, said Green. For she is mine. The one I could sing about. And in this day, there is only such a shortage of what one is to sing about. I especially miss her at Night. When her warm embrace is not to be mine, for the fates had decided so. Yet, when the Night’s gentle kiss replaces her’s, it is only a sickening substitute for what she had given me. While she is allowed to go about, I can only kiss the stars and keep up my own feeling of loneliness. My dearest, I have written letters to you. You shall recieve them in due time. Trust me. Yet, my words are nothing as to my emotion. But soon, as I wake, I shall see you again. You have to come home sometime. My moon, I am here.
